These past comments are copied from my former site because it was impossible to bring them over to My Simple Knitting web site as I was using Facebook Comments.
Most of the Facebook Comments were for knitting help because at that time I didn’t have a forum or a way to answer questions about knitting other than through the Facebook Comments.
But Facebook Comments doesn’t allow enough space to properly answer many of the knitting questions posted through Facebook Comments. So a question requiring a lengthy reply took 2 or 3 replies on my part to fully answer the question. Very inelegant. Now visitors and members have a proper place to ask questions about help with knitting, help with patterns, and other knitting help; my Simple Knitting Community forum board.
These past comments are only a very, very small number, a handpicked 2-6 for various pages, of the thousands of Facebook Comments visitors had left during the 6 years I operated my “simple-knitting” web site.
My new site has a Review button instead of Facebook Comments so visitors and members may now leave a comment plus a star rating for each page. And if they like they can click on one of the social icons at the top of each page to share their interest.
The review button is called “Create your own review” and is located at the very bottom of almost every page.
Before I launch into the brief list of Facebook Comments I’ve received over the years at simple-knitting.com I’d like to share two emails. These words of encouragement arrived during that very dark period of my life. They gave me hope, they gave me inspiration. I knew then I wasn’t alone. I also knew then I wasn’t a piece of dirt or stupid as one certain person said daily. Inside my mind I straightened a particular finger.
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for creating this website. I have always wanted to learn how to knit but could never really master the instructions but thanks to your website I have been able to complete a blanket and a scarf! Your instructions are excellent and so clear!”
Thank you again.
